We exist to transform the lives of over one million children, helping them to reach their God-given potential through gospel teaching and clean drinking water.
OMC is committed to training Zambians and releasing them to the call of God on their lives. The goal is to create a sustainable ministry in which the Zambians are reaching the children of their nation with the word of God and clean water.
Our Leadership Team
Pastor Larry & Marsha Roth
President, Founder
Co-founders, Pr. Larry and Marsha Roth are living out the vision God gave Larry to bring clean water and the gospel to one million children in sub-saharan Africa. After serving in pastoral ministry for 32 years, God has brought them to Zambia where Larry fulfills the role of Bible teacher and President of OneMillionChildren.
Pastor Tom & Julita Siachitema
Country Director
Tom Siachitema is following his passion for The Great Commission and the Zambian people through his partnership with OneMillionChildren as Country Director. His charismatic spirit, management expertise and endless contacts allow him to orchestrate near impossible logistics with great care. Julita felt lead to start a women’s ministry in 2023; this has continued to grow. She also is very instrumental in the preparation and planning for the yearly mission school.
John & Christy Vaccari
Treasurer
Since joining the board of OMC in 2020, John has led all the administrative functions and logistics of the ministry, including construction of the mission school building and implementation of remote teaching via zoom, allowing for additional teaching sites. Christy is working with Julita to develop an intercessory prayer network for the OMC ministries and the mission school graduates.
Pastor Brent & Dr. Natalie Furlong
Partner - GoTime Ministries
Brent and Natalie Furlong founded GoTime ministries in 2001 and have ministered to people all over the world. Brent brings many years of youth evangelism experience to OMC. He currently serves on the board and was instrumental in instituting a common children’s ministry curriculum across all zones. Natalie has been involved in both speaking and intercessory prayer with OMC.
Our Story
In 2008 Pastor Larry Roth, our founder, was returning home from ministering at a leadership conference in Ethiopia. On the flight, God clearly told him to reach one million children in Sub-Saharan Africa with clean water and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through much prayer, and waiting on the Father’s leading, OneMillionChildren was launched.
Pastor Roth identified the need for OMC to focus on 2 areas; children’s physical needs and their spiritual needs. Through teaching the Word of God, many children are reaching their God-given potential.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, 1,000 children die every day of medical complications from bad water. Most of these lives could be saved by providing clean drinking water. OMC’s team repairs wells in very remote areas, allowing thousands of children access to clean water and happy, healthy lives.
“When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I the Lord will answer them…everyone will see this miracle and understand that it is the Lord, the Holy one of Israel, who did it.” (Isaiah 41:17, 20)
Our Strategy
Hope For Zambia Bible School
Our Bible School is a teaching ministry centered around the infallible Word of God. Zambians are trained in application and effective ministering of Gods word.
Hope For Children Ministry Sites
Children focused ministry located in rural areas of southern Zambia. Our Bible School graduates meet with children weekly to teach them Gods word. We have 135 different sites and counting!
Zambia well repair team
This is a three man team that does all of our well repair. Locals are trained in water well maintenance while our experts travel for more serious repairs
